 Sargan's Eight

The Sargan's Eight is a narrow railway connecting towns of Uzice and Visegrad on the old Belgrade-Sarajevo railway built in 1925; and it was abandoned in 1974 when newer modern railroad was built. In 1999 renewal of the old railway began by construction of the rails in the part from the Sargan Vitasi station to Mokra Gora. The railway, with unusual loop in a form of figure of eight, is passing through colourful region. There are 22 tunnels and about 10 bridges and viaducts on the railway.
